It's time for all the pro-Jallikattu protesters to celebrate as the bill that legalises the bull taming sport was unanimously passed by the TN assembly. The pro-Jallikattu protesters have the bill in their favour. After a week long protest across Tamil Nadu, all the students who stood up for this sport have finally got what they wanted. The sport will now be a permanent act. Social media has been pouring in with tweets, congratulating the youngsters for their effort and also thanking the Tamil Nadu government for taking the necessary steps. The week long protest had taken a violent turn this morning, when some of them set a police station on fire, as they were forced to leave Marina beach. Outraged that a permanent solution had not been sought, the student resorted to violent means. Kamal Haasan, Rajinikanth, RJ Balaji urged all the protesters to go home and not get violent after all they had achieved via their peaceful protest. Rajinikanth wrote a letter stating, that he was proud of the youngsters and requested them to maintain peace. Raghava Lawrence clarified that it was not the students who had resorted ot violence but a few miscreants who created trouble. Last week, Tamil Nadu had come to a standstill as they were fighting for the ban against Jallikattu. The protesters stated that the bull taming sport was symbolic of their culture and tradition. They assembled on Marina Beach, set up camps, observed fasts, displayed placards as part of the protests. They only resorted to peaceful ways to make sure, their support for the sport was heard. Celebs also shared videos and came to the Nadigar Sangam grounds as part of the Jallikattu protests. Right from Suriya, Karthi, Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Jayam Ravi, Sivakarthikeyan, to simbu, Vijay,Trisha, Ajith Kumar, Shalini, Chiyaan Vikram voiced their support for the sport.

So, what do you think of the Tamil Nadu's action on behalf on the people. The protest has officially been called off, as at the end of it, the students have won. Jallikattu will now very much be part of the culture and tradition of Tamil Nadu.
