Akshay Kumar is one of the down to earth actors in Bollywood. The actor is currently riding high on the success of his recent outing fantasy drama Mission Mangal which is based on true events. Akshay always takes out time for his family always. Time and again the Kesari actor is seen taking holidays and going on a vacation with his wife, son and daughter. And the actor has done it again. Akshay shared a video of himself and mother Aruna Bhatia, who were strolling in the streets of London.
Sharing the video he urged everyone to spend some time with his family "Juggled shoot to spend a few days with mom in London. No matter how busy you are with life and growing up, don’t forget they are also growing old...so spend time with them while you still can." Have a look at his tweet here:
Several fans of the actor left heart emoticons in the comments section. A fan of the actor wrote, “Love u paaa gii,”, “Proud of you Akki sir,” wrote another. Recently, Akshay who became the 4th highest-paid actors as per the Forbes list. He paid a tribute to his mother with a social media post on the Internation Yoga Day. He shared a picture of his mother and lauded her for taking up fitness despite undergoing knee surgery at the age of 75. The caption on his post read, “Sharing something I’m extremely proud of...post her knee surgery at the age of 75, my mother started doing yoga and now it is part of daily routine, improving one day at a time.” Have a look at his post here:

Meanwhile, Akshay spilled the beans on how Mission Mangal happened to Mumbai Mirror and said, "It just happened, he sketched out the story to me as I was leaving for a shoot of Kesari. I was bowled over but wondered how he would make it. We don’t make science films and this one was about a space mission. But I liked it enough to tell him, 'We’ll make it.' He began writing it with (R) Balki sir. Then, Vidya (Balan), Sonakshi (Sinha), Taapsee (Pannu) and others came on board and we wrapped up the film in 32 days.
