Superstar Rajinikanth’s 2.0 is currently the most awaited film in Indian cinema for numerous reasons - one of them being the kind of humongous budget it has been made on. Directed by Shankar, 2.0 is the sequel to the 2010 release, Enthiran, which had Rajinikanth playing a double role - that of scientist Vaseekaran and the robot Chitti. The film is currently in the post-production phase and is tentatively slated to be released in November this year, making the wait longer for fans. However, fans might now have reason to still be happy about 2.0.
A making video of 2.0 has gone viral on social media which is the shooting of a song sequence involving Amy Jackson and Rajinikanth. The video shows the kind of heavy graphics and 3D angles that makes up the film, much to the joy of fans. Watch the video here…
2.0 also stars Akshay Kumar as the antagonist and will mark his debut in Tamil cinema. Akshay will be seen playing a scientist named Richard and will sport a wicked look. The release of this high-budget film has been rescheduled multiple times till now due to the time taken for VFX work. 2.0 was initially slated for release in January this year but was later pushed to April. However, with Kaala being released around the same time and the VFX taking more time, the makers had to reschedule the release date of the film once more.
2.0 also stars another Bollywood actor, Sudhanshu Pandey, in a key role. The film will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi simultaneously.
