The teaser of Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven starring STR aka Simbu is out now and the actor looks stylish in it. Directed by SUndar C, Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven is the Tamil remake of Pawan Kalyan-starrer superhit Telugu film Attarintiki Daaredhi directed by Trivikram Srinivas. The teaser of Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven has nothing new to offer and seems to be a literal remake of the original. One can see the tinge of original in this teaser including few Telugu-suited scenes which stood out in the original. Fans of STR are raving about the teaser of Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven which has now gone viral on social media. Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven, besides STR, stars Catherine Tresa and Megha Akash as the leading ladies. Megha Akash is seen reprising the role played by Samantha Akkineni in the original while Catherina Tresa is seen in the role played by Pranitha Subhash. Ramya Krishnan reprises the role played by Nadia in the original who’s the aunt of the protagonist. The music of Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven is being composed by Hiphop Tamizha and is expected to be a massy album since we have STR in the lead role here. The original, Attarintiki Daaredhi, had Pawan Kalyan croon a folk song for a situational comedy scene. And with STR known for his singing too, it will be interesting to see if the mass actor too will lend his voice for the same scene. Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven is being produced by Lyca Productions who bankrolled the recently released 2.0.
