Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma's Sui Dhaaga is one of the most widely awaited films of the year. The actor has been trying to delve into different genres of films which is simply inspiring. If he does a Judwaa 2, there's also an October to show off his mettle as an actor. Sui Dhaaga falls in a similar category. The trailer gives us a feeling that it will be a good blend of entertainment and realism. Varun plays tailor in the film. It might seem pretty easy to everyone in the film but the actor had to do a lot to get into the character. He had to do many workshops to get the stitching right. And guess what did he stitch first? A BLOUSE!
Varun revealed on Twitter a video from the workshop saying, "3 months of training, learning and becoming Mauji! Thanks to darshan Noor bhai, I can finally say I now know how to stitch :D #SuiDhaagaMadeInIndia." Such dedication deserves a huge round of applause. The other garments that he stitched were a shirt, a pant and many such important stuff. In fact, Varun got so good in stitching shirts that he gifted one made by him to his father David Dhawan on his birthday. Thus, you know, how much the actor has put into his role in Sui Dhaaga.
