Yes, the Company actor has indeed bagged an award! However, this is not the Phalke Award that veteran actor Shashi Kapoor is being conferred.

Vivek Oberoi is making headlines again! The actor who almost zoomed out of Bollywood scenario has now become the butt of jokes on Twitter. The reason the actor won an award - The Dada Saheb Phalke Film Foundation's, Phalke Pride award 2015 for excellence, dedication and versatility. In a statement issued by his publicist the actor even expressed his joy on winning this award. He said, “It’s a huge honour and I’m quite honoured and humbled to receive the award at such an early stage of my career. Thank you for this encouragement so I can keep bettering myself with every piece of work that I do.” Well, we don't know about honour, however the Phalke Film Foundation Award has only got the actor more attention.
