A little birdie seems to suggest so...
Pulkit Samrat and Yami Gautam have already had a couple of releases, Sanam Re and Junooniyat but more than the films, it's the antics of the lead pair that has made news. A few days back reports floated in how Pulkit Samrat's estranged wife, Shweta Rohira was on the verge of slapping Yami Gautam at the gym of the hotel, where they were housed for the shoot of Sanam Re. Now, we have got some information, which might explain why Shweta was mighty miffed with the Vicky Donor actress.
A little birdie told us that when Shweta went to Shimla to spend time with her husband, her in-laws were already there. It seems they were going to spend some family time together. Shweta went there and saw that her in-laws were very friendly with Yami, which surprised her initially. The Kaabil actress too was extremely attentive towards them." With Shweta already realising that her husband's bonding with his co-star was 'too friendly', this observation was like a double blow for the shocked wife. The source also informed us that back in Mumbai, she saw Yami carrying tiffin for Pulkit almost daily. Her worst fears were confirmed by then.
The source says, "It is a known fact that Pulkit's parents were not too fond of Shweta right from the start. They did not show any kind of objection to the budding relationship between Pulkit and Yami as well. This has shocked Shweta's family to a great extent and they are deeply hurt. However, they are not the types to indulge in mud-slinging and would like this matter to end in the most dignified way as possible. Shweta is rebuilding her career and life and they want to focus on the positive aspects."
If true, this could well explain the reported tiff between Yami and her at the gym. It must have been very hard for Shweta to digest the fact that she was not getting any kind of support/help in her relationship from those who could have helped her mend it in the right time.
