We had always considered Govinda as the chirpy kind of actor who is on good terms with everyone. Even after he made his recent debut on the social networking site, Twitter, he always used to do plugins for movies having other stars in the lead and congratulating them for their performances or just like that. We never suspected that he held a lot of bitterness for some of his colleagues, one of them being a long time collaborator, who is busying shaping his own son's career. In an explosive interview given to Pinkvilla, Govinda took on David Dhawan, the director with whom he has given the maximum hits, and Karan Johar, with whom he has never worked before. We don't know whether this was Govinda's way of bringing more focus on his upcoming movie, Aa Gaya Hero, or there is true bitterness. But whatever the matter is, his quotes are truly shocking, Also Read - Kareena Kapoor Khan, Amrita Arora give burning replies to trolls who called them 'buddhi' for gaining weight

David Dhawan
In the interview with Pinkvilla, Govinda has this to say about the Judwaa director. "In David Dhawan's nature, there's always been an element of dominance. If someone's picture is working well, he doesn't like it or appreciates it. He's the jealous kind and he likes that fact that people are not doing well in their field of work. And when he feels that his work is going for a toss because of someone, he makes sure that the person doesn't fall in his way. I think that pressure of me being a part of politics was coming on him, so he just went away. I'm not expecting anything. May God bless him."
In another interview with Mid-Day, he again shared his bitterness about the director and the reason for their fallout, as he said, "I did 17 films with him. When I asked David to make the 18th film with me, he took my subject and titled it 'Chashme Baddoor' and cast Rishi Kapoor in it. Then I asked him to put me as a guest appearance. He didn't do that too. After that, I didn't meet him for some years. I kept requesting him to take at least one shot with me so that it could be my 18th film with him. But I don't know what he had in his mind."
Karan Johar
Govinda had never appeared on Karan Johar's chat show, Koffee With Karan (that had even Rakhi Sawant as a guest, mind you). So he was quite annoyed with the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil director for that, as he told Pinkvilla, "He (Karan) must have said that it would be a matter of national respect for him if he calls Govinda, but he is releasing Varun's film (Badrinath Ki Dulhania) just a week after my film. He shows that he's very humble and innocent, but woh mujhe David se zyaada jealous and zyaada khatarnak lagta hai. (I find him more jealous and more dangerous than David Dhawan)"
Govinda also later accused Karan Johar of groupism in the same interview. He continued, "He (Karan) has never called me in 30 years, he doesn't see actors who are not the part of his group and doesn't even say a hello, I doubt. He's not that kind-hearted. It's a well-planned and smart move by Karan that he's releasing his film a week after mine. I don't find him as straightforward as he projects himself."
In an earlier interview with The Indian Express, Govinda had said, "Karan Johar never called me for any of his interviews. He has called comedians, singers, actors, newcomers and everyone else. You start a Karan Johar show in which Govinda should never be seen. Throw parties in which Govinda should never be seen. Many such things have happened with me."
