Mr Bachchan, we think you are being too modest as always...
In the years that have gone by, Amitabh Bachchan has acted and sang for us. And the best part, he has succeeded doing both. His baritone voice lends an altogether different charm to any song he sings and that's what makes it work. But here's a surprise, Mr. Bachchan, doesn't quite agree. in fact, according to him, he's tone deaf (besura)! Obviously, we beg to differ.
Today Big B was present at the song launch of his upcoming movie TE3N. He shared his experience on singing one of the tracks ‘Kyun Re’ from the film. By the way, the song is melodious, emotional and leaves you with a bitter-sweet feeling. We are already listening to it on loop. So here's what Big B said, “Clinton Cerejo, the composer, wanted me to sing it in a way that it came across as a weak man singing. I don't like singing in front of everybody because I am very conscious. I go to a familiar place. This was recorded at late Aadesh Srivastava's studio. I sang first, but the product wasn't good. Then Clinton came in and that is how this song was recorded. I thought it was terrible. But he said it will sound OK when worked on the machine. I sound very besura. He has the ability to make me sound good”.
