The biopic on NTR Rama Rao is getting bigger day-by-day thanks to the addition of one more star in the biographical drama. Apparently, the Bhallaldeva of the industry aka Rana Daggubati has been roped in to play the character of Chief Minister Chanda Babu Naidu, who is also the son-in-law of NTR. Rana shared the news on his Twitter account by sharing a picture and captioning it, "Coming together to tell you a story of an incredible human phenomenon called “N.T.RamaRao”"

NTR biopic features Nandamuri Balakrishna, Vidya Balan and Jisshu Sengupta in pivotal roles. Talking about NTR biopic, the film will be based on Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, who was fondly called as NTR. The multi-talented personality was an Indian actor, producer, director, editor and politician who served seven years as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. The actor has even received three National Film Awards for co-producing ‘Thodu Dongalu’ (1954) and ‘Seetharama Kalyanam’ (1960) and directing ‘Varakatnam’ (1970). Talking about director Krish Jagarlamudi, the filmmaker has known for delivering films like Gauthamiputra Satakarni, Gamyam and Vedam.
His venture Kanche had won the national award for the best feature film in Telugu. Apart from this biopic, Krish is also directing Kangana Ranaut starrer Manikarnika, which is based on the life of Queen of Jhansi Rani Laxmi Bai. Coming back to NTR biopic, the film is produced by Balakrishna, Sai Korrapati and Vishnu Vardhan Induri. Interestingly, they are also co-producing the Hindi version which is titled 1983 biopic.
