The trailer of the film has just come out....
Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan are coming back together onscreen for the third time in Hamari Adhuri Kahani. The first poster of the film released this morning and everyone started appreciating their chemistry. And now with the first trailer out people have gone gaga about how good the two look together. However, not many know that this film is very very important for both these stars. Wonder why?
Emraan Hashmi hasn't been quite able to charm the audience in the recent past. His films Ghanchakkar, Raja Natwarlal, Ungli and Mr X, haven't done any wonders at the ticket windows and therefore he is on an all time low. Ghanchakkar, opposite Vidya Balan, was said to be a really big release and yet didn't do any wonders. The same is the case with Vidya Balan. Even all her releases in the past two years have been classified flops. Bobby Jasoos, Shaadi Ke Side Effects, Mahabharat, Ghanchakkar have opened up to empty theatres. It's not that Emmi and Vidya haven't experimented with their roles, it's just that the films didn't work with the audiences of the present generations.
The two created magic with The Dirty Picture, but couldn't repeat the same in Ghanchakkar. With Hamari Adhuri Kahani, the two will be trying to get back that lost fan base. So where did they go wrong?
Emraan, who is always known to give his audience some superhit songs seems to have lost that in his past few releases. He should make sure that HAK has some mind-blowing tracks to boast of. Also, Vidya shouldn't do the bubbly chirpy girl characters that she portrayed in Ghanchakkar and Bobby Jasoos. She should stick to the very homely, desi, matured women like characters. Audiences love her in that.
After seeing the trailer of HAK, it seems both these factors have been taken care of by Mohit Suri. We hope to see this magical jodi giving a blockbuster once again. Keep reading this space for more information on the film.
