The demise of Tamil politician and screenwriter N Karunanidhi has shocked everyone in the state of Tamil Nadu. Right from politicians to biggest Tamil stars like Rajinikanth, Suriya, Dhanush, Thala Ajith arrived on the last rite of the politician to pay him tribute. Now as per the latest reports, Kamal Haasan's latest mega-budget venture bilingual Vishwaroopam, which is set to hit the screens on this Friday, might get postponed as the localites are mourning over the death of their leader it will not be a good time to release the film.
As per IBT, a source said, "It seems to be a not right time for the release of a big movie as the state is mourning the death of its beloved leader. With the state government announcing 7-day mourning, the public mood is expected to be low."
Talking about Vishwaroopam 2, the also stars Shekhar Kapur, Waheeda Rehman, Rahul Bose, Pooja Kumar, Andrea Jeremiah, Jaideep Ahlawat, Nasser, Anant Mahadevan, Yusuf Hussain and Rajendra Gupta. The Hindi version of the film is presented by Rohit Shetty and Reliance Entertainment. Talking about the film during the trailer launch Kamal said, “This film is very close to me and everyone who is a part of this film has worked very hard… It is the faith of the people in our work that makes us stronger. I hope you all like what we have made with love and passion for you all.” Vishwaroop is set to hit the screens in Tamil and Telugu versions.
