Justin Bieber performed in Mumbai, at DY Patil Stadium, as party of Purpose Tour. Jam packed with the pop star's fans, the concert was a huge success. There were only a minor glitches from what we know as of now, including the one time when Justin's guitar was out of tune because of the humidity. That being said, we do see a potential glitch, that might cost Justin and the organisers a lot, if someone took offense. Well, it involves waving of the Indian flag. We have seen this before, right?
At the end of his set, which last about 120 minutes, one of Justin's crew members began to wave the National flag of India. The singer continued to sing his hit number Baby while the Tricolour was being waved. Well, it doesn't sound bad at all, but again we never know what might get a celeb in trouble in our country. Who knows someone is planning to file a complaint against the Canadian popstar for 'disrespecting' our nation! Well, watch the video here, and judge for yourself:
If you remember, last year in November, Coldplay front man Chris Martin got in some trouble for allegedly disrespecting the Indian flag. Coldplay was in India as a part of the Global Citizen Festival. Chris along with AR Rahman had sung Vande Matram, and also waved the Tricolour. At on point during his performance, Chris partially tucked the Indian flag in his back pocket that infuriated the political parties and many citizens. Nawab Malik, former Maharashtra minister had demanded an unconditional apology from Chris over the same.
We can only hope that Justin doesn't have to go through any of this!
