The Baadshah of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan is all set to make a comeback on the small screen as the host of Ted Talks India - Nayi Soch. Yes, you read it right. The makers of the shows have renewed for three more seasons, where SRK will entertain us as the anchor. The official twitter handle of TED Talks confirmed the news and tweeted, "Breaking news! #TEDTalksIndiaNayiSoch with @iamsrk has been renewed for three more seasons. #TED2018"
In the link shared by TED Talks, Shah Rukh Khan said, “I believe passionately that India is brimming with brave and brilliant ideas—and that those ideas have never mattered more. This program features India’s finest storytellers in a surprising blend of entertainment, inspiration and intellectualism, and I‘m more committed than ever to spread their ideas to my country and the rest of the world.” CEO and chairman of STAR TV Uday Shankar said, “Star TV is committed to developing programming that goes beyond pure entertainment to inspire and educate our massive audience. Both the critical response and the tremendous viewer love for this series were key factors in our decision to bring Ted Talks India: Nayi Soch back for at least three more seasons.”
TED’s Head of Television Juliet Blake, who executive-produced the series, said: “We’re incredibly proud of this show’s accomplishments breaking barriers to reach new audiences, and look forward to spending the next several seasons inspiring a nation to embrace ideas and curiosity.” Well, with three more seasons, we are definitely excited to watch SRK on the silver screen. On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is currently shooting for Aanand L Rai's Zero. The film also stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in pivotal roles and is set to hit the screens on December 21.
