WTF! Popular Telugu comedian Ali publicly calls Anushka Shetty as 'hot jalebi'!

Imagine this. You are spending a perfect weekend watching TV along with your family. You surf through channels and stumble upon a show that features a renowned star. The above mentioned filthy words were actually uttered by none other than popular Telugu comedian Ali at Size Zero audio launch. Known for making notorious remarks, Ali was invited to the stage at the audio launch event of Anushka Shetty-Arya-Sonal Chauhan starrer. And with Anushka Shetty sitting in the crowd, Ali was shameless enough to pass a sexist comment about Anushka and her 'thighs'. When asked to speak a few words about Anushka, Ali said," Anushka looks like a hot Jalebi who everybody likes to eat. You had asked the other girl (Sonal Chauhan) to slap her thighs. However, she has no thighs. Anushka has really remarkable thighs. Believe it or not, these vulgar comments on Anushka were made by Ali in front of a huge crowd. While Ali might think he was just trying to create humour, I found extremely distasteful and regressive. Apparently, the comedian had passed similar comments about actress Samantha during S/O Sathyamurthy music launch last year.

We would have loved if Anushka had stood up and reprimanded Ali for his cheap remarks!
