Yeh Hai Mohabbatein starts with Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) seeing the kitchen area and fire. She falls down and pretends to be hurt. A female cop goes to seek help. Ishita puts water in the chulha and creates smoke. The constables do not find Ishita, who hides from them. The constables tell convicts to evacuate the place due to fire. Suhail (Gaurav Wadhwa) asks Niddhi (Pavitra Punia) to get out from there. Ishita collides with Suhail. A constable holds Ishita's hand. Ishita tries to see the woman with Sohail. The jailer is escorting Niddhi back to her cell when her shawl falls. Ishita sees her and is shocked.
Simmi (Shireen Mirza) sees Ananya upset. She says Gaurav (Deepak Wadhwa) is also hungry, let us lunch at your favourite place. Ananya refuses. Simmi says I think Parmeet did not wish to come to pick you. Ananya says maybe he is busy in meeting. Simmi sees Ananya upset and tells Gaurav to drop them home. She says Param ji did not do right with my daughter. She says she is going to confront Param about the same and Gaurav says he will accompany her as he is concerned about her safety. She agrees to take him along.
Raman (Karan Patel) gets upset while asking Abhishek, how did the info leak out of the police. Abhishek (Vivek Dahiya) tells him to mind his language. He does his work. Ishita comes there and meets Raman, who asks her why was her phone off. She says she went to the jail and saw Sohail with Niddhi. Simmi and Gaurav where a man stares at her. Gaurav gets in between. The manager says Param has stepped out for a while. They decide to wait. Gaurav later gets master keys from a waiter. When the door opens, she sees him sleeping with a girl. The waiter says she works in the hotel. He makes her leave.
Parmeet wakes up and Simmi slaps him. She says she is disgusted. He says he is not aware of whatever is happening with him. Gaurav and Simmi leave the room. Raman scolds Ishita for taking such a huge risk and entering the jail. She says that Sohail met Niddhi. He is surprised and later she says that she got Pihu's favourite pastries. At home, Ruhi and Pihu are arguing over a game of Ludo. Ishita gives pastries and scrapbook to Pihu. Ruhi thinks of asking about Vikram. She asks Raman where did he go. Raman says he went to meet Abhishek. Ruhi asks is all good? Raman says yes. They leave the room.
Aaliya (Krishna Mukherjee) talks to Ruhi (Aditi Bhatia) and says I will meet you tomorrow. Shagun (Anita Hassanandani) asks Aaliya to mend her relationship with Mani (Sumeet Sachdev). Aaliya says I cannot guarantee your patch-up. Shagun says I have booked a resort and taken efforts. She says if you do not convince him, I will tell Mani that Adi (Abhishek Verma) and you have broken up. Abhishek tells IshRa that Nidhi is very disciplined and jailor says she reads on crime and blackmailing. Ishita asks why is she reading this. Abhishek says we have to investigate her connection with Sohail. Ishita says I don't think she will change. Raman says this is complicated.
Simmi weeps at her misfortune. She sees Ananya sleeping and cries. Ishita sees Ruhi and wonders how will she explain the Niddhi-Sohail connect to her.
