Ishita is sacrificing a whole lot for Aditya’s happiness. But I think it’s high time she stops!
It’s not that I’m not fond of nice people. Everyone likes a kind, warm person. But when niceness is mistaken for another person’s lack of self-respect, it becomes an issue. Same seems to be the case in Raman (Karan Patel) and Ishita’s (Divyanka Tripathi) show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein where Ishita- the adarsh bahu and maa- is now beginning to be termed as a woman without any spine. The track in the plot is currently revolving around Ishita, Shagun (Anita Hassanandani) and Raman. Shagun is trying her level best to steal Raman from Ishita. What’s even worse is that she is using her own son Aditya as her trump card. By playing the ‘main bechaari’, the vamp is manipulating Aditya into believing that Ishita is the demon who took Raman away from her.
I understand Aditya’s naive nature, as he is a child deeply influenced by his mother’s words. But I fail to gauge on why Ishita continues to bend her back and oblige to Aditya’s vile needs. Be it being a victim to his japes, taking Shahun’s taunts or being the butt of Raman’s wrath, Ishita is willing to go through it all for “Aditya’s happiness.”
In the recent episode, I saw Ishita claiming that no one can take her for granted. Well wake up and smell some coffee Mrs Bhalla, you are being taken for a ride by Shagun!
I feel its high time Ishita told Shagun to take a hike and stop giving in to Aditya’s tantrums. Nobody asked her to please everyone in the first place!
