Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and his ex-wife Dhanashree Verma are once again in the headlines. Recently, Dhanashree made a shocking revelation on Amazon MX Player's show Rise and Fall. She said that she caught Chahal cheating on her in just the second month of their marriage. This statement caused a stir on social media. Now, Yuzvendra Chahal has openly responded to the matter for the first time, calling all the allegations false. In an interview with Hindustan Times, Chahal said, "I am a sportsperson and I do not cheat. Agar koi two months mein hi cheat karta toh itna lamba relationship chalta kya? For me, this chapter is over, done and dusted. I have moved forward with my life and everyone else should do, too." Chahal says that he has accepted this matter as a part of his past and no longer wants to discuss it.

Chahal further explained that his marriage with Dhanashree lasted for approximately four years and six months. He said, "Agar two months mein cheat hua hota toh kaun continue karta? Main pehle bhi bol chuka hun ki mai past se nikal chuka hun. But some people are still stuck there. Abhi bhi kai log uss cheez ko pakde hue hain, abhi bhi unka ghar mere naam se chal raha hai toh they can continue doing that. I am not concerned or affected."
When asked about his relationship status, Chahal clearly stated that he is currently single and has no intention of remarrying. However, Chahal has been linked to RJ Mahwish for some time, but both have denied these rumors several times. He stated that he is now solely focused on his career and starting a new life, and has completely distanced himself from past controversies.
