Actress Zaira Wasim has disassociated herself from Bollywood. In a long post, Zaira wrote about how throughout her innings in films, she was at conflict with her religious ideals. Zaira Wasim, who hails from Kashmir has done three films so far. The actress played Geeta Phogat in Dangal and won the National Film Award for the Best Supporting Actress. She was then seen as Insiya in Secret Superstar which was a huge hit in China. The young lady will be seen as Farhan Akhtar - Priyanka Chopra's daughter in Shonali Bose's The Sky Is Pink that will release in October. Zaira Wasim said she was not truly happy being identified as an actress. In a lengthy post, she wrote, "Five years ago I made a decision that changed my life forever. As I stepped my foot in Bollywood, it opened doors of massive popularity for me. I started to become the prime candidate of public attention, I was projected as the gospel of the idea of success and was often identified as a role model for the youth." She further wrote, "However, that’s never something that I set out to do or become, especially with regards to my ideas of success and failure, which I had just started to explore and understand."
