A couple of months ago, we were shocked to see Ayesha Takia’s latest pictures that looked like she had gone under the knife. That sweet, cherubic face that we loved in movies like Socha Na Tha, Dor and Wanted was looking so awkward in those pictures. Ayesha Takia has hence claimed that those were photoshopped to look so and now, seeing her new album song, I have to agree that I believe her claims. Yes, she looks a bit different now, but that’s just age catching up with her. But overall, she still has the child-like charm, as she dons the garb of the protective elder sister in the new song, Zindagi Tujhse Kya Karen Shikvey from the album, Zindagi Yeh Zindagi.
The song is about the girl-trafficking issue, that is quite rampant in our country. While we fight over beef and soldiers, we often forget the real issues that harangue us, as the citizens of this country, human trafficking being one of them. Actually this is an evil that’s not just affecting India, but nearly every other country in the world. Coming to the song, It is about how Ayesha Takia’s younger sister is kidnapped by unknown men in a van when she was going to school. These unknown men belong to a trafficking gang, led by a shady looking Vipin Sharma (Taare Zameen Par). A distraught looking Takia uses her wits and a dedicated police force to find her younger sister and bring the culprits to the book. It’s cool to see that they have chosen to show a whole premise that’s worth a movie confined within the time limit of a song. The video is directed by Lovely Singh and Rahul Singh.

The song is sung by Amit Mishra, with music scored by Raaj Aashoo and lyrics by Murli Agrawal.
So how did you find the above song? And Ayesha Takia, when are you returning to Bollywood?
