29 Years of Khuda Gawah
Amitabh Bachchan and the late Sridevi will forever be remembered as two of the biggest names in Indian cinema. The duo acted with each other on more than a few occasions and their collaboration usually turned out to be a profitable affair for producers. One of their most memorable films together is legendary Director Mukul Anand's Khuda Gawah, which has completed 29 years. The 1992 action-drama, which also featured Danny Denzongpa, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Shilpa Shirodkar in pivotal roles, was shot in Afghanistan, Nepal and India. Apart from becoming a moderate box office success, it also bagged 3 Filmfare awards, which include Best Director(Mukul Anand), Best Supporting Actor (Danny Denzongpa) and Best Sound, and since then, has gained cult status, more than any box office glory or awards could buy.
