Now, the couple, along with his son Junaid Khan, have been seen spending time with Shikhar Dhawan and his rumoured girlfriend, Sophie Shine. Sophie shared a picture on Friday with the caption, “Beautiful evening.”
Sophie was seen in a chic black co-ord set with a handbag, Shikhar Dhawan in a deep pink T-shirt with white trousers, Aamir Khan in a simple grey kurta and blue jeans, Gauri Spratt in a denim kurta top with black pants, and Junaid Khan in a casual black T-shirt and beige trousers.
Aamir and Gauri made their first public appearance as a couple at the Macau International Comedy Festival in China. Aamir wore a stylish black kurta-pyjama with an embroidered shawl, while Gauri dazzled in a beautiful light blue floral saree.
Aamir introduced Gauri Spratt as his girlfriend, during a press interaction on his 60th birthday. He said that the two had met 25 years ago and lost touch, but reconnected about two years ago.
Aamir revealed that they have been together for 18 months now. Gauri, who lived in Bengaluru, has been married before and has a six-year-old son.
Talking about their relationship, the actor said, “I was looking for someone I can be calm with, who gives me peace. And there she was,” he said. Aamir mentioned that he had prepared Gauri for the attention that comes with being in the public eye, noting she is not used to it. “We are hoping that you guys will be kind,” he added.
Aamir Khan is set to return to films with Sitaare Zameen Par, a spiritual sequel to his hit movie Taare Zameen Par. The film also stars Genelia D'Souza. The release date is yet to be announced.
