The actress we are talking about is Amala Paul. She was born on 26 October 1991 in Aluva, Kerala. She started her career in the Malayalam film Neelathamara (2009), and later appeared in the Tamil film Mynaa (2010).
Amala Paul has worked with director AL Vijay and was also romantically linked with him, and later they got married. However, their marriage lasted for two years. They got divorced due to disagreements between her and her in-laws regarding her decision to continue acting.
When life took a new turn, Amala started dating entrepreneur Jagat Desai and got pregnant just a month into their relationship in 2023. After she was pregnant, the two got married in July and welcomed a baby boy in 2024.
The actress shared that she had lived with Jagat for a few months before marriage, got pregnant without marriage, and did not know what to do at that time.
In an interview with JWF Binge, Amala said, “I got pregnant at a time when I didn’t know what to do with my life. But that experience gave me a sense of direction and made me a better person. Everything became about that little life inside me. I didn’t know where the ‘me’ went– but I liked it.”
The actress has also worked with Ajay Devgn in Bholaa as Dr. Swara. She has also worked with Tahir Raj Bhasin and Zarina Wahab in the Ranjish Hi Sahi series and was also seen alongside Mohanlal and Biju Menon in Run Baby Run.
