The controversy between South Korean actor Kim Soo Hyun and late actress Kim Sae Ron has been going on since the death of the late actress, and alleged that Kim Soo Hyun dated her when she was a minor. However, a new revelation surfaces.
On June 12, the legal representative of Kim Soo Hyun, LKB & Partners, Bang Sung Hoon, confirmed that one property owned by the actor was seized by the court. Bang Sung Hoon said, It's true that one property owned by Kim Soo Hyun at Galleria Forêt was recently seized by the court.
The lawyer further said, “However, this seizure is unfair. Kim Soo Hyun is a victim of HOVERLAB. Although the issues lie with the assailants, the arrows are being pointed toward the victim simply because contractual obligations were not met.
Kim Soo Hyun’s legal team argued that the advertisers suffered financial losses as they couldn’t use the actor for promotional purposes despite paying him. The lawyer said that it was all HOVERLAB's doing.
Bang Sung Hoon shared that if the team can prove through the court proceeding that HOVERLAB made false claims, then Kim Soo Hyun’s reputation can be restored, and the advertisers will no longer have to worry about compensation.
According to a report by Allkpop, the cosmetic medical tools company, CLASSYS, has filed a legal request demanding to seize Kim Soo Hyun’s property at Galleria Forêt, worth approximately 3 billion KRW.
The cosmetic company alleged that Kim Soo Hyun's team failed to pay penalties, resulting in a breach of the advertising contract. As a result, the court has ordered the seizure of the property of Kim Soo Hyun.
Recently, the court has also approved the seizure of Kim Se-eui’s property, as requested by Kim Soo-hyun’s legal team. This marks a big win for Kim Soo Hyun against Garosero.
