As soon as Bigg Boss 19 began, the audience witnessed many emotional and powerful moments. One of the most touching moments occurred when model and beauty queen Nehal Chudasama shared her struggles and passion with Ashnoor Kaur. During their conversation, she mentioned her younger brother, whom she considers her true source of strength.
Nehal stated, Whatever I am today, it is only because of my younger brother. She revealed that her traditional Gujarati father never supported her dreams. However, her brother always encouraged her and stood by her during tough times.
Nehal recalled receiving a call from a regional pageant in Andheri when she was 17. At that time, she lived in Borivali and did not have money for even a simple trip. She told her brother she might not be able to participate in the competition due to the lack of funds.
What happened next changed her life. Nehal said her brother started working as an exam supervisor at a nearby college, where he earned Rs 100 daily. He worked hard for four days, saved Rs 400, and gave it to Nehal. Her brother told her, You go, you participate.
Nehal shared that at that time she had only two pairs of clothes, but the encouragement she received from her brother was so powerful that she decided to face the world with confidence. “Even though I was an athlete, I was overweight. I lost 20 kilos in just three months through sheer determination, said Nehal.
Her struggles did not end there. Her father wanted her to marry at 18. He even stopped her from joining the gym. Out of necessity, Nehal began exercising in parks, where she faced harassment. Eventually, after seeing her determination her father allowed her to go to the gym.
After hearing Nehal's story, Ashnoor Kaur praised her courage and hard work. Nehal summed up her journey with a powerful statement: Hard work takes you everywhere.
Bigg Boss 19 premiered on August 24, featuring a total of 16 contestants this season.
