Bigg Boss 19, 18 September update: September 18 episode of Bigg Boss season 19 was filled with drama and excitement. There are a few things to remember from the episode that aired on September 17 to continue ahead with this one. The house was divided into 2 teams for the captaincy task. Team A consists of Tanya, Shehbaz, Neelam, Ashnoor, Abhishek, Zeishan, and Mridul, and Team B has Baseer, Awez, Kunickaa, Farhaana, Pranit, Nehal, and Gaurav. Amaal Mallik had given a warning on the previous day, saying that girls should not hide the golden biscuits in the clothes, as reaching for them would be considered inappropriate touch for boys. This leads to a discussion between the Farrhana, Nehal, and Shahbaz, where Shahbaz accused Nehal of using the ‘woman card.’ Amaal tries to calm the situation down.
In the third round of the captaincy task, Zeishan and Shahbaz also enter the task. On this, Amaal teases Gaurav Khanna and says that he should also join the task and show some aggression. Gaurav replies, Bhai, achha khel rahe hain ye, humein zarurat nahi hai, hamara ek hi bahut hai. It’s not about the player every time; it’s about the team. This leads to a little bit of aggressive tension as Abhishek Bajaj agrees with Gaurav.
At the end, Amaal counts the number of gold biscuits and declares that team A has won the captaincy task, meaning that the next captain will be chosen from their team.
Abhishek does not eat non-vegetarian food on Tuesdays, so he takes most of the pieces from the chicken biryani and saves them for the next day. Amaal calls him out and asks him to put the pieces back because Kuncikaa and the other members did not get any. This leads to a verbal fight between the two.
Amaal confessed to Baseer that he had teamed up with Shahbaz to hide his belongings for the prank. Baseer was shocked and said that he did not think it was Amaal. Baseer then confessed to Amaal that he was disappointed that Amaal hadn’t supported him during nominations. This led to Amaal breaking down while Baseer and Shahbaz comforted him.
Housemates were asked to gather in the captaincy room and discuss whether they liked Amaal’s captaincy throughout the week. Most housemates said that they found his leadership ‘too aggressive.’
By the end, 11 inmates voted for liking Amaal Mallik as a captain. Baseer and Nehal also pointed out how Amaal always accepts whenever he is wrong, which is a strong quality for a captain. Bigg Boss gives Amaal the chance to renew his captaincy by being able to participate in the captaincy task.
The episode ends with Amaal telling Tanya that I will give your contact number to my mom, as she wants to travel to all the temples. Then Tanya asks him if he would like to visit the temples with her and if he has never been to Vrindavan or places like those before. Amaal replies that he would like to visit them.
