In 2021, very few films released in theatres; while some left a strong mark at the box office, some turned out to be a disaster. Sooryavanshi became a blockbuster, and movies like Antim: The Final Truth, Tadap, and Roohi collected some respectable numbers (keeping in mind the pandemic scenario). It was expected that 83 and Jersey will end 2021 with bang. However, 83 is getting a lukewarm response at the box office, and Jersey has been postponed. Now, everyone is thinking whether which film will do exceptional business at the box office in 2022. So, here we are predicting that the below five films will take box office by storm in 2022…

RRR

SS Rajamouli’s name is enough to get the audiences in theatres. Even though Covid-19 is spreading rapidly in the country, the makers have decided to release it on 7th January 2022. While the Telugu version will get a bumper opening at the box office, it is expected that the Hindi version will also do very well at the ticket window. It will be interesting to see if RRR will break the box office records of Baahubali or not. Laal Singh Chaddha

It’s been really long we have seen Aamir Khan on the big screen. Laal Singh Chaddha is slated to release on 14th April 2022, and the movie, which also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan is expected to take a flying start at the box office. Aamir’s movies are family entertainers, so we are sure that the moviegoers would love to watch it with their families in theatres.

Prabhas has multiple releases lined up in 2022. But, Adipurush is clearly the film everyone is waiting for. It’s based on Ramayana and Prabhas will be seen playing the role of Lord Ram in it, while Kriti Sanon portrays the character of Sita. Saif Ali Khan will be seen as Raavan in the movie. The movie is mounted on a huge scale with a lot of VFX, so clearly it will be a visual treat and a perfect big screen experience. It is not yet announced when Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathan will hit the big screens, but Salman Khan, who has a cameo in the movie, recently revealed that Tiger 3 might release in December next year and Pathan will hit the big screens before his movie. It will mark SRK’s big screen comeback after a gap of four years, so it is expected to take the box office by storm.
