Cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma tied the knot in the year 2020. However, within five years of their marriage, the couple decided to part ways. In March this year, Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma's divorce got final.
Given that they are public figures, there was a lot of commotion around their divorce. Dhanashree Verma faced incessant trolling after rumours of alimony and speculations around separation went viral. Now, for the first time, Dhanashree Verma has opened up on life post divorce.
In an interview with Bombay Times, Dhanashree Verma shared that the public criticism does not bother her. She mentioned that she has surrounded herself with inner strength and is focusing on her work.
Dhanashree Verma said, 'I have guarded myself and have built myself so strong that I just focus on my work, which will speak for everything. The negativity and public criticism have never really bothered me since day 1, and it will never bother me ever.'
She also spoke about what she learnt from the divorce and the rough phase in her life. Dhanashree shared that she learnt the importance of self-reliance, adding that her parents have raised a strong daughter. She called it a phase of 'growth and self-discovery'.
Despite everything, she has not given up on love. Dhanashree Verma mentioned that 'love is the most beautiful aspect of life' and she is open to what future holds for her. But as of now, she is focused on personal growth.
Dhanashree Verma, who is a choreographer by profession, revealed that she has changed her lifestyle completely post separation. The diva said, 'I have been working on myself even more now. Even though I have been a very hardworking person, I have now completely changed my lifestyle and am focusing on self-love, inner strength, discipline, exercise, good food, and surrounding myself with people who look up to me.'
Post separation from Dhanashree Verma, Yuzvendra Chahal has remained in news due to dating rumours with RJ Mahvash. Even though RJ Mahvash has denied the speculations, their social media banter is adding fuel to fire.
