The promos had huge expectations, however, the fans were a little disappointed with the track of the third season. Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi 3 commenced in July and was wrapped in November. Erica herself expressed disappointment with the makers for ruining Sonakshi's character.

Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar's TV show Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2 didn't perform as per the expectations. The low TRPs were a growing concern for the fans too. There were also reports that Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2 is going off-air. Disha and Nakuul both clarified that it was not the case. The producer of the show reportedly asked the writers to focus on Ram and Priya's love story.

The introduction of Ranveer aka Karan in the show and eventually killing him didn't impress the audience much. And now, the track of one sister sacrificing her love for another sister is also not going down either. Fans seem to have clicked with Akshara and Abhimanyu's jodi already. Harshad Chopda, Pranali Rathod and Karishma Sawant make for the new cast of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
