As Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway reprise their legendary roles as Miranda Priestly and Andrea Andy Sachs for the ongoing production of The Devil Wears Prada 2, they are drawing attention on the streets of New York City with their snarky appearance. Stanley Tucci, who reprises his role as the ever-supportive Nigel Kipling, has been spotted filming with Simone Ashley, Pauline Chalamet, and Helen J. Shen.
Tracie Thoms and Tibor Feldman return, while numerous new faces join the group, including Kenneth Branagh as Miranda's husband, Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, B.J. Novak, Pauline Chalamet, Rachel Bloom, and Patrick Brammall.
Hathaway recently shared a first-look photo of herself as Andy in 2025, complete with a pinstripe outfit and a radiant smile, sending the internet into a frenzy. With the caption Andy Sachs 2025 #dwp2, the picture went viral right away.
She wore the iconic frosty white long pixie hairstyle of her character while filming in New York City. Wearing a long tan trench coat, a purple blouse tucked into a brown leather skirt with a belt, and matching brown heels, Streep looked chic as she returned to her original suits.

The original film's director, David Frankel, is back in charge, directing from a screenplay written by Aline Brosh McKenna. The movie is being produced by Wendy Finerman and Karen Rosenfelt, and it will be released by 20th Century Studios on May 1, 2026.
Andy leaves Runway for a job at a New York newspaper at the end of the original 2006 movie, which became a cult classic for its biting satire of the competitive fashion industry. Now that the media landscape has drastically changed, audiences will finally get to witness what Miranda and Andy are up to. In the follow-up, Streep's character Miranda is in a high-stakes battle for vital advertising revenue, unexpectedly facing up against her former combative assistant Emily Charlton (Emily Blunt), who is now a prominent fashion industry executive.
The plot, which is once more set in the bustling streets of New York City, centres on Runway EIC's battles to adapt to the rapidly evolving digital media landscape and the magazine industry's evolution.
