Gadar 2 breaks box office records, races ahead of KGF 2, Pushpa and more South Indian films

Gadar 2 creates and breaks records

Bollywood has been revived thanks to Gadar 2. After Pathaan, Sunny Deol starrer has managed to make massive numbers at the box office. The film made fabulous numbers within a week. It has become one of the highest grossers in recent times and everyone is in celebratory mode. The nostalgia value worked and Gadar 2 passed the Rs 250 crore within seven days. Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel's film also managed to break some big records with its collection. Here's the list.

Gadar 2 BEATS KGF 2

Sunny Deol's film managed to beat the collections of Yash starrer KFG 2 with its fifth day collection. The Hindi version of KGF 2 made Rs 219.56 by the end of fifth day while Gadar 2 reportedly made Rs 228.98 crore. It has also beaten the collections of KGF part 1.

Gadar 2 BEATS Allu Arjun's Pushpa

Pushpa: The Rise starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and more approximately collected Rs 350 crore. While within seven days, Gadar 2 has already made Rs 369 crore approximately with its worldwide collection.

Gadar 2 BEATS Baahubali 2

Sunny Deol starrer managed to beat Baahubali 2 starring Prabhas by becoming the second fastest film to enter Rs 200 crore club. While the Hindi version of Baahubali 2 took six days, Gadar 2 managed to cross Rs 200 crore mark in five days.

Gadar 2 BEATS Ponniyin Selvan II

The lifetime collection of Ponniyin Selvan II is reportedly Rs 345 crore. Gadar 2 has crossed that mark with its Worldwide collection in seven days.

Gadar 2 BEATS Kabali

Rajinikanth's film Kabali was a hit. Reportedly, the estimated gross collection of the film was around Rs 286 crore. Gadar 2 India Gross Collection is Rs 335 crore.

Gadar 2 BEATS Varisu

Vijay's film Varisu received a thumbs up from many. The estimated gross collection of the film was between Rs 290 to 310 crore. Gadar 2 managed to beat the numbers within a week.

Gadar 2 BEATS Adipurush

All had high expectations from Adipurush. However, the film crashed badly. Gadar 2 easily managed to beat Adipurush's numbers. On day seven, Adipurush made only Rs 5.5 crore approximately but Gadar 2 made approximately Rs 23.28 crore.

Gadar 2 BEATS Bigil

Vijay's films estimated gross collection was reportedly between Rs 285 to Rs 305 crore. Gadar 2's India gross collection is approximately Rs 335 crore.

Gadar 2 vs OMG 2

Gadar 2 competed with OMG 2 at the box office. But quite easily, Sunny Deol's movie took the lead over Akshay Kumar's film even though both received positive reviews.
