The Indian Film industry is witnessing an amazing time at the box office right now. The last few days have been an absolute riot. Films such as Gadar 2, OMG 2 and Jailer have been pulling the huge crowd to the theatres. Shah Rukh Khan's comeback movie with Deepika Padukone, John Abraham and director Siddharth Anand brought 3.49 crore people to theatres.

Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan starrer Adipurush by Om Raut was watched by 1.69 crore people in theatres. The movie was a disaster.

Waltair Veerayya was released earlier this year in theatres. The film stars Chiranjeevi, Ravi Teja, Urvashi Rautela and more celebs. It was watched by 1.18 crore people.

Ajith Kumar starrer Thunivu also released this year. The movie was pitted against Varisu. Thunivu reportedly got 94 lakh footfalls in cinema halls.
