She will co-star with Agastya Nanda and Dharmendra in the much awaited biographical war drama, which is directed by Sriram Raghavan. This will make it one of the year's most thrilling premieres.
Simar, who was born to Akshay Kumar's sister Alka Bhatia and her first husband Vaibhav Kapoor, was raised in a household with strong ties to the movie business. In 2012, her mother wed Surendra Hiranandani, a real estate tycoon. Simar has maintained a quiet profile and avoided the spotlight up to this point, despite her well-known family.
She spent a number of years in the United States while pursuing her further education overseas, where she became quite interested in the creative arts.

Ikkis, a Maddock Films production produced by Dinesh Vijan and helmed by Sriram Raghavan, the celebrated director of Andhadhun and Badlapur, will mark Simar's Bollywood debut. Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, India's youngest recipient of the Param Vir Chakra, gave his life in the 1971 Indo-Pak War, and his story is the inspiration for the movie.
Simar co-stars in the movie with Agastya Nanda, Amitabh Bachchan's grandson, and Dharmendra. Jaideep Ahlawat also plays a significant part. The actors and compelling subject matter of the film, which is scheduled for release later this year, have already generated a great deal of interest.
Akshay Kumar, Simar's uncle, has been her strongest supporter and has openly shown his love and encouragement on social media. In his heartfelt post, he wrote, “I wish my mom was here today and she would have said, ‘Simar puttar tu tah kamaal hai.’ Bless you my baby @simarbhatia18, the sky is yours.”
