This is the biggest controversy of Kapil Sharma's life. Reportedly, under the influence of alcohol, Kapil Sharma assaulted Sunil Grover and Chandan Prabhakar in the flight while coming back from Melbourne, Australia. He even assaulted the Tandav actor physically and verbally. Sunil Grover kept his calm and later left the The Kapil Sharma Show, in which he used to portray the character of Dr Mashoor Gulati. Since then, Sunil and Kapil have not collaborated for anything.

Kapil Sharma was roped in as the host of Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) for the opening ceremony and extra innings of the cricketing event with a staggering remuneration of Rs 1.25 crore. But Kapil Sharma threw tantrums and walked out of the show, leaving producers Salman Khan and Sohail Khan angry. Later, the Bharat actor chose Comedy Nights Bachao over Comedy Nights with Kapil to promote his movie, which fuelled the reports between Kapil and Salman. Though everything is sorted now and Salman Khan is even the producer of The Kapil Sharma Show.

In 2015, Kapil Sharma attended International Marathi Film Festival Awards and after having a few drinks, the TV personality misbehaved with his co-stars Tanisha Mukherjee, Monali Thakur and other females. While he denied the news, the comedian later tweeted, I fall, I rise, I make mistakes, I live, I learn, I've been hurt but I am alive. I am human, I am not perfect but I am thankful.

As per the reports, Desi Girl, Priyanka Chopra had made Kapil Sharma wait for three hours in an award function. And even after waiting for such a long time, the actress said that she is not ready yet, which made the comedian upset as he unplugged his earpiece and threw it on the floor saying, “Ladies logo ka yehi problem hai, madam abhi tak tayaar nahi hain.” (That’s the problem with these ladies, madam isn’t ready yet).
