YouTuber Lee Jin Ho sparked speculation by alleging Kim Sae Ron's involvement in a naerim gut ritual. According to Jin Ho, the late actress was reportedly influenced by a pub owner in Apgujeong and participated in one such ritual last September.
Despite complaints, the Youtuber Jin Ho made shocking claims regarding the late actress. Jin Ho said, “If I had arranged for Kim Sae Ron to undergo a shamanic ritual, I would close my business and disappear quietly.”
As per Jin Ho, the purpose behind performing shamanic ritual by Sae Ron was to revive her career after a DUI controversy. According to the Youtuber, reportedly the actress after breakup with a K-pop star drove her car with high alcohol consumption and Kim Soo Hyun had nothing to do with the case.
Kim Sae-ron's family close associate denies allegations claiming that the late actress underwent a traditional Korean shamanic ritual, known as naerimgut, to revive her acting career following DUI case.
Kim Sae Ron’s close family associate speaking to Hankyung stated, “It is completely false that Kim Sae Ron received a shamanic ritual. That is absolutely not true.” The associate also clarified that the later actress had keen interest in Korean folk beliefs because of her previous roles.
Kim Sae Ron's interest in shamanism reportedly grew from her roles in Man Shin: Ten Thousand Spirits and The Great Shaman Ga Doo Shim, both explored the themes related to Korean folk beliefs. Her family's representative clarified that her connection to a shaman mentioned are rumors and not a fact.
The Apgujeong pub owner, mentioned in the Youtuber Lee Jin Ho's allegations, denied any involvement in the case. In response to the allegations he said, “If Sae Ron were possessed by a spirit and I had arranged it, I would close the store immediately and quietly disappear.”
Meanwhile, amid the dating scandal, Kim Soo Hyun’s agency GOLDMEDALIST has filed a formal complaint against online users who allegedly spread defamatory content about Kim Soo Hyun, causing harm to his personal and professional reputation.
