Years later, Mahesh shared his hardships on Facebook, including his inability to find employment, his distance from his son, and the stunning Rs 6 crore financial betrayal he suffered from his stepbrother, which left him unable to pay for even the most basic of demands. At the age of 57, Mahesh Anand tragically died on February 9, 2019. A profound sense of loneliness pervaded his existence, which was reflected in his death. He was discovered unconscious on his couch, with unopened food and a bottle of alcohol nearby.
