Of late, Kamal Haasan's upcoming movie Thug Life is much in discussion. The film is mired in several controversies. The movie stars Kamal Haasan, Trisha Krishnan, Abhirami, Ravi Mohan and many others.
Recently, song titled Sugar Baby featuring Trisha Krishnan from the movie Thug Life made it to the internet. The song received a mixed reaction from the audience. Though Trisha Krishnan's swag was loved by her fans, many weren't quite impressed with the choreography.
Now, the choreographer Roshini Nair has shared a video from the rehearsals. Trisha Krishnan could be seen rehearsing the hook step of the song with quite dedication.
However, netizens have a drastic reaction to it. One of the comments on the video read, 'Seeing the song I thought what a stupid dance step. But seeing the choreographer do it. Now I realise that Trisha ruined a good step.' Another one called expressions of the choreographer 'superb'.
Trisha Krishnan's fans though jumped out in her defense and mentioned that she nailed it in Sugar Baby. A fan wrote, 'Too much of hatred comments from a keyboard warriors, it's just a dance steps and for sure the choreographer was there during the shoot of this song. She's nailed in this song as sustain in this industry nearly 2 decades.'
Thug Life is currently in news due to a remark made by Kamal Haasan. His comment 'Kannada was born out of Tamil' at the audio launch of the movie has sparked controversy.
As per reports, a complaint has been filed against the actor. As per a report in Mint, Karnataka Rakshana Vedike, a pro-Kannada organisation, has filed a complaint against the actor for his comment.
However, reportedly, Kamal Haasan has refused to apologise for the comment made and mentioned that it was 'made out of love'. The movie is releasing on June 5.
