South Indian actress Sai Pallavi will be seen essaying the role of Sita in the Ramayana film. According to Times of India, Sai Pallavi is charging Rs. 6 crores for her role. The actress has reportedly commanded a fee between Rs 2.5 crore and Rs 3 crore for her earlier projects. For Ramayana, Sai has doubled her fees.
Animal star Ranbir Kapoor will be reportedly 2400% higher than that of Sai Pallavi in Ramayana. Yes, you read that right! Usually, Ranbir charges Rs 75 crore for each film, but he has charged Rs 225 crore for the Ramayana. Ranbir will play the role of Lord Rama in the film.
KGF star Yash will be seen playing the role of Ravan in Ramayana and as per Times of India, he will be Rs 150 crore for the film. The actor usually charges Rs 50 crore for each film.
As per Times of India, Nitesh Tiwari has constructed a beautiful and grand set up of Ayodhya worth Rs 11 crore for Ramayana.
Arun Govil and Lara Dutta were spotted on the sets. Arun will be playing the role of Raja Dashrath while Lara Dutta plays Kaikeyi in the film. Sunny Deol will be seen as Hanuman, Sakshi Tanwar as Mandodari, and Naveen Polishetty as Lakshman.
Ramayana's first installment is expected to be released in 2025.
