Popular television actor Ravi Dubey is currently in the news for his upcoming film Ramayan with Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi. He will play the role of Laxman in the film and is quite excited about his role.
Amid all this, an old interview related to Ravi has been going viral on social media about him performing a kissing scene in the Jamai Raja show. Did you know, Ravi took permission from his wife, Sargun Mehta, and his in-laws for the same.
Actress Sargun Mehta appeared on Shubhankar Mishra's podcast and he asked her which actress said that Ravi is the best kisser. Sargun reacted to this laughingly and said that Nia Sharma had said it. Sargun then narrated an incident wherein she said that Ravi told her about the kissing scene in the show, and she said 'ok buddy'.
Ravi then said that he should tell his parents about the same. Then he said that he will speak to Sargun's parents about the same, as they might feel bad. Ravi told her that he would take permission from her parents, but Sargun was asking him what he needed to take permission for.
Later, Ravi called Sargun's mother, and she felt awkward. Sargun told Ravi to shoot the kissing scene properly as it will come on the screen. She said that she does not want anyone to say that he is a bad kisser and feel pity for him. She even said that she knows that the kissing scene was not done emotionally, but technically.
The kissing scene between Ravi and Nia Sharma was shot for Jamai Raja 2.0, which was the sequel of Zee TV's show Jamai Raja. Jamai Raja was one of the biggest hit show, which gained a lot of popularity and Ravi became a household name with his role as Siddharth.
