Recently, Samantha Ruth Prabhu spoke about the 'dark phase' in her life and it was the year following the divorce. She mentioned that she had worst thoughts as she felt that nothing was working for her.
To Galatta Plus, Samantha Ruth Prabhu was quoted saying, 'I remember once I actually went to the point where I thought like, ‘enough, I can’t do this anymore’. I had the worst possible thoughts. I obviously didn’t have the courage to go ahead and do it… It was hard for a year. There was nothing that was working, there were no answers being given. Every direction I turned, there were no answers. Everything felt broken. I backed out.'
In the past, Samantha Ruth Prabhu has spoken about her struggling phase when she suffered financial challenges. During her speech at a university, she once claimed that she only ate one meal a day at times as she did not have enough money. She also shared that she did odd jobs to make money.
She also spoke about not having money for higher education. She said, 'When I was studying, my parents told me to study hard and I would make it big. I studied hard. I completed 10th grade, 12th grade and college. But then when I wanted to study further, my parents couldn’t afford it. I had no dreams, no future, nothing.'
