Music composer and filmmaker Palash Muchhal has been embroiled in multiple controversies. These surfaced after his wedding to cricketer Smriti Mandhana was postponed.
Palash Mucchal's old tweet has gone viral on social media wherein his personal number has been leaked. In 2010, Palash was seen as a child actor in Abhishek Bachchan and Deepika Padukone starrer Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey. In 2011, he had put out a tweet to Mahesh Bhatt expressing his wish to work with him. In the tweet, he had also put out his number.
Netizens have discovered the old tweet and are sharing it on X (Twitter). In the tweet, Palash posted, @MaheshNBhatt Hi sir am an actor..my recent film is KHELEIN HUM JEE JAAN SEY i just wanna work with u..sir my no. Is 8****1. Thanks (sic). The tweet has now been deleted.

In 2011, Palash had replied to one of the tweets posted by Anupam Kher. For the unversed, Palash tweeted, @AnupamPkher Hiiii sir..howz u..??? Remember me ?? Jhunku from ''khjjs'' we met at d premiere... (sic).
Palash-Smriti's controversy turned worse when screenshots of his alleged flirty messages with another woman went viral on social media. These messages included invitations for swimming sessions and intimate talks which further sparked accusations of emotional cheating.
Palash Muchhal's cousin Neeti Tak has defended him, and also asked people to avoid judging him based on some rumours. “Palash is going through a critical condition today, you all should not judge Palash as wrong without knowing the truth,” Palash’s cousin had written in a note uploaded on her Instagram Stories.
Several screenshots of the chats between Palash Muchhal and Mary D'Costa had surfaced on social media, leading to speculations. The pictures of the flirty chats, which were allegedly posted by D’Costa on Reddit, soon made their way to social media. Which seemed to be the reason behind Smriti and Palash’s wedding postponement. D’Costa took to Instagram to clarify on the viral chats and said she never met Palash Muchhal and the contact lasted for a month. She also denied reports claiming that she was a choreographer.
