The Traitors is the Indian adaptation of the popular American reality show of the same name. The show is streaming on Prime Video and has been getting all the love already. In this show, the contestants are divided between two teams - traitors and faithfuls. The Faithfuls have to identify the traitors before they are killed (eliminated). Karan Johar is the host of the show and the shooting of the show has happened in a grand fort in Jaipur.
Talking about the contestants, the show has Sudhanshu Pandey, Uorfi Javed, Raj Kundra, Jasmin Bhasin, Karan Kundrra, Ashish Vidyarthi, Nikita Luther, Sufi Motiwala, Elnaaz Norouzi, Lakshmi Manchu, Jannat Zubair, Janvi Gaur, Purav Jha, Maheep Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor, Sahil Salathia, Mukesh Chhabra, Raftaar, Apoorva Mukhija, and Harsh Gujral.
Eliminations have happened in the show and people have been shocked to see the fast game happening. Raj Kundra was the traitor and he got identified. However, Sahil Salathia, Lakshmi Manchu were ‘murdered’ by Raj and the other traitors. During the circle of shaq, Karan Kundrra was evicted as the others suspected him to be involved with Raj. Karan’s elimination was a big shock and people are not happy with this. The actor has now opened up about his elimination. He said that he is used to a different type of show where one can take time to understand the game but with The Traitors, everything was fast.
Karan Kundrra further added, “It was like being in hyperdrive. I really wish that day, if I had survived the Circle of Truth, I would’ve gone quite far. Because this is a very different kind of game. Well, we too wish he was still a part of the game.
Raj Kundra also spoke about his elimination from The Traitors. He said that the beauty of the show is that no one knows who is saying what about whom in this show. It spoke about the ruthless nature of the show.
He added, “You never know who is playing who. At one point, I suspected Janvi or Ashish Sir, then I stayed silent. I didn’t expect people like Rebel Kid and Raftaar to actually connect the dots and turn on me. But I loved it. It is a Kalyug show, and truly the baap of all shows.”
Lakshmi Manshu also opened up about the show and said that the format was very new for her and it was her first time doing a reality show but it was a beautiful experience. She shared that the show was a wonderful experiment she did on herself and is glad that she got to do a show with such an incredible cast and crew.
Sahil is shocked that it was Elnaaz who murdered him. He said that he never thought that she would do it to him. He initially thought it was Raj Kundra who murdered him but Raj told him that it was Elnaaz. He said, “When Raj Kundra told me on the way back that Elnaaz did, my faith in basic human love language was lost.”
