The actress we are talking about is none other than Mumtaz. She was born i 1947 to an Indian father and Iranian mother. Mumtaz started her career at a young age. She made her acting debut when she was just 11.

In a candid conversation with Zoom, Mumtaz opened up about her relationships with her co-stars. She revealed that she was in a romantic relationship with Shammi Kapoor. Despite a close bond with the actor she chose not to marry him.
In the interview, Mumtaz revealed that Shammi Kapoor, who was twice her age, proposed to her when she was just 17, but she refused after the actor put the condition of no work after marriage. She said, “I told him I couldn’t marry him because I wanted to work and fulfil my dreams. I didn’t want to be a homemaker, taking care of his children and managing the household.”
Mumtaz also opened up about speculations regarding him and superstar Rajesh Khanna, she said, “We were a box office hit pair and worked in 10 successful films together, so it was obvious that people are going to assume that we were dating. But the truth is we didn’t have an affair.”
In one of the interviews with BollywoodShaadis, Mumtaz spoke about her relationship with Feroz Khan. She revealed that Feroz was madly in love with an Anglo-Indian girl at that time. Though the duo got separated but he never proposed to her. They were very good friends, and their marriage was off the charts between them.
