He recently revealed the complications that he faced during his two marriages and even revealed that his wedding ring for the second wife was bought by his own first wife!
The producer is a very famous name in the Bollywood industry. He has four children. The actor’s children have made their own names as well, with one of them being a very celebrated and beloved actress.
The producer we are talking about is Boney Kapoor. The producer recently got into a conversation with Chanda Kochhar, where he revealed the complications of his two marriages. He also talked about the issues and difficulties faced by his children, especially during the separation periods.
Boney Kapoor first got married to Mona Shourie Kapoor. The couple tied the knot in Mona Shourie Kapoor and had two children together, Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor. However, the two had to split up in 1996, after Kapoor ended up falling for Sridevi.
Sridevi and Boney Kapoor met each other at the sets of the 1987 film, Mr. India. Boney fell for Sridevi; the two got married in 1996. Together, they gave birth to two children as well, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor.
In the conversation with Chanda Kochhar, he revealed that he had confessed to Mona about her love for Sridevi. In fact, he revealed that the rings he and Sridevi wore were also brought by her. He explained that his confession was what allowed Mona to raise all the kids without any contempt for the producer.
He also recalled the emotional time when he was stuck between her wife and children. He talked about the letter Arjun Kapoor wrote to him, in which he asked Boney, “Why don’t you come home?” He revealed that it was very hard for him to manage between Sridevi and his children.
He admitted that he loved his children very much; however, it was hard for him to leave his wife alone. He revealed that his children used to feel bad after seeing their mother suffering, which was understandable for him. At the end, Boney concluded that he is just happy that all his children are together now, and there is stability in his family.
