Post Golmaal Again and Stree, things have again hit a roadblock in horror for Bollywood. Thankfully, the current year finally holds some potential, with horror movies like Bhediya and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 coming our way.

Upcoming Bollywood horror movies

Bollywood and horror haven’t always shared a symbiotic relationship. The good to decent horror movies in Hindi cinema can literally be counted on your fingers and you wouldn’t even need all of them. Bhoot Bungla (1965), Raat (1992), Raaz (2202), Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007), 1920 (2008), Haunted (2011), Go Goa Gone (2013), Golmaal Again (2017) and Stree (2018) are literally the only ones of note that come to mind – didn’t we tell you that you wouldn’t even need all ten fingers? Post Golmaal Again and Stree, things have again hit a roadblock in horror for Bollywood, with the two movies having proved to be a false dawn of revival for the genre. Thankfully, the current year finally holds some potential, with a quartet of promising horror movies coming our way. Check them out below:
