We aren't talking about Aishwarya Rai Bachchan but Ramola Bachchan. Amitabh Bachchan's brother Ajitabh Bachchan is married to Ramola Bachchan. They have four children - daughters Nilima Bachchan, Namrita Bachchan, Naina Bachchan, and son Bhim Bachchan. Naina Bachchan is married to actor Kunal Kapoor.
In one of the interviews, Ramola Bachchan had spoken about her bond with Amitabh Bachchan. She had revealed that he played the matchmaker for her and Ajitabh Bachchan.
In an interview with Rediff in 2022, Ramola Bachchan shared that she was friends with Amitabh Bachchan even before she got married to Ajitabh Bachchan. She knows him since Amitabh Bachchan was working in Kolkata during his pre-films days. They were a part of same circle.
Ramola Bachchan shared, 'It was through him that I met Ajitabh. It was pure friendship. This was in the 1960s before he had thought of joining the films. I think he had a secret yearning for films, but it was not prominent then.'
Further she called Amitabh Bachchan a 'family man'. She explained how he is good friends with her children too and that whenever he is in London, he ensures to spend time with them.
Ramola Bachchan was quoted saying, 'He is primarily a family man. His commitments to his family are of the greatest importance to him. That is how I know him. I know him as a family man, a loving family man. He is very good at remembering special family occasions. In spite of his very busy life he never fails to remember family occasions.'
Ajitabh Bachchan is Amitabh Bachchan's younger brother. Unlike the star, Ajitabh Bachchan chose to stay away from the world of glamour. He is a successful businessman who reportedly has a net worth of Rs 166 crore.
