This week, she got a sponsor invitation to play The ANNIKA, an LPGA event in Florida, which put her in the sports news spotlight.

On October 28, it was announced Kail will get a sponsor exemption to play the ANNIKA at Pelican Golf club in Belleair, Florida, from November 13 to 16. The LPGA and tournament release say she was chosen as one of the sponsor invitees.
At the event, Kai said that it is a dream and she looks forward to competing with top players. The AP and Reuters reports suggested that the invitation mentioned Kai’s large social media presence and her recent launch of a sports lifestyle brand.
Kai has committed to play college golf at the University of Miami, which starts in 2026. The ANNIKA is the biggest chance to test herself and inspire younger players towards the game. LGPA officials said the sponsor invitees help and encourage new talents and bring younger fans to the game.
