Miss Universe India, which is the second edition of the popular beauty pageant, was held on August 18 in Rajathan's Jaipur. Interestingly, Manika Vishwakarma bagged Miss Universe India title. For the unversed, the title was passed on to her by Miss Universe India 2024 Rhea Singha.
While Manika Vishwakarma has bagged the prestigious title, first runner-up position was won by Tanya Sharma from Uttar Pradesh. Mehak Dhingra - who belongs to Haryana was declared the second runner-up, and Amishi Kaushik bagged the third runner-up title.
Manika Vishwakarma belongs to Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan. She currently stays in Delhi. She is in the final year of a Political Science and Economics Degree. She had earlier bagged the Miss Universe Rajasthan 2024 title.
Manika is a trained classical dancer and amazing artist. She represented India at the BIMSTEC Sewocon, an initiative organised under the Ministry of External Affairs. She also won accolades from the Lalit Kala Academy and the JJ School of Arts.
An advocate of neurodivergence, Manika is also the founder of Neuronova - an initiative dedicated to raising awareness about ADHD. In an interview with ANI, Manika said that she came from her hometown, Ganganagar to Delhi and prepared for the competition.
Fashion designer Ashley Rebello, movie director Farhad Samji, Actress and Miss Universe India 2015 Urvashi Rautela, and Founder of Act Now Organisation Rajiv K Shrivastava, among others were the selection committee of Miss Universe India 2025.
Manika will now represent India at the 74th Miss Universe pageant in Thailand this November. During the finale round, Manika was asked to choose between women's education and providing economic aid for underprivileged families. Her intelligent answer secured her win.
Manika won the Miss Universe India 2025 title, while Tanya Sharma from Uttar Pradesh was crowned the first runner-up, Mehak Dhingra from Haryana is the second runner-up. While, Amishi Kaushik is the third runner-up.
