In the upcoming episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Armaan saves Daksh's life and calls himself as his father. Armaan's statement leaves Ruhi confused about her feelings.
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been winning hearts with their current storyline. After Rohit's death, Ruhi, Armaan and Abhira have been going through a tough phase. Armaan and Abhira support Ruhi, who feels devastated and alone.
On the other hand, Abhira feels disconnected from her pookie baby and tries to re-enact being pregnancy. Abhira puts a pillow on her tummy and dances with it. Her actions leave Kaveri upset.
Kaveri reprimands Abhira as she says that the baby has formed a connection with Ruhi. Abhira tries to present her stance in front of Kaveri, but the latter shuts her down.
Kaveri tells Abhira that the mother who takes care of the child is only second to the mother who gives birth. Ruhi feels bad listening to Kaveri's words. She tries to confront Kaveri for hurting Abhira and Vidya.
Kaveri questions Ruhi on why she agreed to become Armaan and Abhira's surrogate when her baby Daksh is small and needs her. Ruhi is shocked when Kaveri says that she favors Pookie baby more than Daksh.
Kaveri even says that Abhira and Armaan will distance themselves from Ruhi after she gives birth to the baby. This statement leaves Ruhi heartbroken and she starts overthinking while playing with Daksh.
She tells Daksh that he will always be her first priority. Ruhi feels alone and lonely. While Daksh crawls away from her and almost gets run over by the car that enters their house.
Armaan reaches on time and saves Daksh as he stops the car. Ruhi comes running and Armaan scolds the driver for his carelessness. Armaan asks Ruhi to tell him if she needs anything to raise Daksh as he is like his father. Armaan's words touch Ruhi and she gets hope once again in her heart.
