The day we have been waiting for is finally here. Allu Arjun's Naa Peru Surya has finally hit theatres! This time he has taken on the role of a military officer. For this avatar, he went through a drastic physical transformation. Reports suggest a US trainer was brought on board to help him achieve a chiseled physique. He has never looked fitter. The story is about a soldier with temperament issues but the trailer and teaser has refused to divulge any further details. So what is a soldier with uncontrolling rage doing in the Army? Naa Peru Surya is about a soldier named Surya from the Indian Army whose ultimate dream is to fight at the border.he yearns to fight for his country and die for it at the end of it. He is the best shooter the Army scene, his stamina is incredible, he boasts of strength like no other. All in all, he can survive in any extreme situation. Then why has he not been sent to the border since the last 7 years? His uncontrollable anger is to blame.
When Surya gets angry, he reacts without a pause and does what he thinks is right. He will beat anybody whether it is an officer or a guy from a bar if they dare mess with him. One such incident costs him dearly and he is asked to leave the Army. After his godfather tries to convince the Chief of his talent, he gives in and says Surya can return on one condition. He needs to get the signature of one if the most renowned psychology professor confirming that he is for to be back in the army. Getting a professor to sign would have been but he is no ordinary professor because Ramakrishna Raju happens to be Surya's father. Ten years ago, Surya left home because his father couldn't stand him and his violent ways. He vowed never to return and now here is, asking him for his signature. In the meanwhile, he meets Varsha who he falls in love with. While trying to convince his father to sign, his ugly father-son relationship comes out into the open. That's when Mr Raju gives him a challenge - He cannot get angry for the next twenty-one days. Will Surya pass it and get his father's signature? We will know in the second half! Vamsi has outdone himself in his directorial debut as he narrates a meaningful tale with ample mass elements. For the all. The Bunny fans, it's treated to watch the Telugu star beat tugs to pulp. His restrained performance gives a glimpse of his maturity and an actor. This movie is turning out to be most interesting. Can't wait for the second part.
